Instructors and Staff

Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the various arts of Horizon system and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and mentors.

The staff at Horizon Martial Arts are not only quality instructors and martial artists, but they posses the character that make them excellent role models and positive examples for our students.

Steve Mukensnabl - Master/Chief Instructor

Since his intial martial arts training in Korea while in the military, CI Mukensnabl has obtained the rank of Black Belt in several martial arts styles to include: Hapkido, HwaRangDo, Phillipine Martial Arts, Doce Pares and TaeKwonDo. Mr. Mukensnabl is also currently ranked as a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Professor Fabio Santos.

In addition to operating and instructing at the Horizon Martial Arts school located in the Woodland, WA; Mr. Mukensnabl is co-founder and Chief Instructor for Trident Martial Systems, LLC which is responsible for training and certifying instructors and their students in various martial arts curricula throughout the Pacific Northwest.
